My soul a weary traveler with no guide, With a heart of cold stone, Drowning in these emotions is my doom, Bright arrows can’t pierce this anguish.
In this misery left to languish, Locked inside this hollow tomb, For my sins I cannot atone, Cause my bitter heart has died.
With sorrow by my side, ‘Til my flesh rots to the bone, For when sorrow is in bloom, This tale is forever retold.

I find myself under the stars, My mind beginning to drift, A self-discovery revealing many scars, Looking closer each scar a gift, Each an important lesson, Helping my pain lessen.
My conscious seeking further inspection, Starts to drift in a new direction, To the heart it goes, Where logic rarely shows, Memories of love won and lost, But at what cost.
My psyche sated, The journey to waking begins, My dream thins, My subconscious now gated, My waking body feels dew, The sky is now clear blue.
